Asian Games 2023: Indian Women's Kabaddi Team Enters Finals

With a commanding 61-17 victory over Nepal, the Indian women's kabaddi team continued their unbeatable streak at the Asian Games and advanced to their fourth straight final. Pooja Hathwala and Pushpa Rana led the charge with their successful raids as India, the runners-up in the previous matches encountered their opponents and held a commanding 29-10 lead at halftime.
Indian women's team kept its dominance at the continental level by giving five all-outs to Nepal by clinching the women's kabaddi finals.
Akshima, a young player from Jharkhand showcased her power throughout the game and stood out in her inaugural Asian Games. She carried out successful raids and gained two touches, which helped India's phenomenal performance.
The Indian men's kabaddi team, which took the bronze in the 2018 Asian Games will compete against Pakistan in the semifinals. The men's team will aim to clinch the finals and maintain their impressive kabaddi performance at the Asian Games.
