Shatrujeet Kapur, the DGP of Haryana served as the parade's chief guest and saluted the parade marching.
DGP Shatrujeet Kapur stated during his speech at the graduation ceremony for the female trainees that it was the duty of the state government to safeguard the lives and property of its residents, a task in which the Police Department played a significant role. The Haryana government has hired 21,437 male and female Police officers between 2015 and 2022 to make the state crime-free.
The Durga Shakti App used for assisting women was launched for the first time in Haryana on July 12, 2018, under the guidance of CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
Women need to just click a button to contact the Police in times of need. This app is connected to Dial 112. Since 2015, Haryana has established 200 women's help desks and 33 women-only Police stations.
The DGP further expressed his best wishes to the parents of all women trainees who have encouraged and helped their daughters to join the prestigious Police service.
