60-member Women's Hockey Team selected for Assessment Camp

The Indian Hockey Women's Team's 60-member assessment squad was revealed by Hockey India on 1 April 2024. The Sports Authority of India (SAI) in Bengaluru will receive these players for the assessment camp that begins on April 1 and ends on April 7. This camp aims to assess and find out the talented players for the next coaching camps and provide them with international exposure.
Goalkeepers: Savita, Sonal Minj, Bichu Devi Kharibam, Madhuri Kindo, Bansari Solanki, Promila Kr, and Ramya Kurmapu.
Defenders: Udita, Nikki Pradhan, Ropni Kumari, Lalhlunmawii, Preeti, T Suman Devi, Anjana Dungdung, and Nishi Yadav.
Midfielders: Monika, Sonika, Neha, Mahima Choudhary, Nisha, Jyoti, Salima Tete, Manashri Shedage, Akshata Abaso Dhekale, Lalruatfeli, Marina Lalramnghaki, Prabhleen Kaur, Manisha Chauhan, Ishika Chaudhary, Ritanyna Sahu, Jyoti Chhatri, Ajmina Kujur, Sujata Kujur, Kruthika SP, Mahima Tete, Mamta Bhat, Edula Jyothi, Anisha Dungdung, Bhavna Khade, and Maxima Toppo.
Forwards: Rutaja Dadaso Pisal, Lalrindiki, Lalremsiami, Vertika Rawat, Taranpreet Kaur, Baljeet Kaur, Vandana Katariya, Dipi Monika Toppo, Manju Chorsiya, Sangita Kumari, Navneet Kaur, Deepika Soreng, Hritika Singh, Mumtaz Khan, and Taranpreet Kaur.
The names selected are based on the 14th Hockey India Senior Women's National Championship held recently. There will be a strong watch on their gameplay and performance during the assessment. Ankitha B.S., the coach of the women's hockey team will manage the team until a Chief Coach is appointed.
