The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to host its first-ever all-women drill team performance at India Gate on Kargil Vijay Diwas Rajat Jayanti. The 29 Agniveervayu women from the IAF will showcase their precision, discipline, and unwavering spirit, symbolizing strength, unity, and progress. The event, scheduled for July 26, from 4:30 pm to 6:45 pm at India Gate in New Delhi demonstrates the IAF's commitment to gender equality and women's empowerment in the military.

IAF posts on X, "Join us in celebrating this groundbreaking moment, be a part of a performance that symbolizes strength, unity, and the breaking of new ground accompanied by Air Force Band." The Indian Air Force has celebrated the silver jubilee of its contribution to the 1999 Kargil war, flying thousands of strike missions and helicopter sorties. The celebration occurred at Air Force Station Sarsawa from July 12-26, featuring an air show that showcased the Akash Ganga Team and Jaguar, Su-30 MKI, and Rafale fighter aircraft.

The all-women unit at India Gate's drill pays tribute to Kargil War heroes and inspires future women in defense. It demonstrates the Indian Air Force's progress towards inclusivity and gender diversity, highlighting women's role in the nation's defense forces.
