Take us through the highlights of Sweena’s educational journey and the industry experience that she brings to the table ?

Sweena grew up in a business family, in an academically enthusiastic atmosphere. She pursued Medical Genetics after graduation and practiced genetic counseling at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. Here, she interacted with numerous children from Autistic spectrum and discovered her bent towards assisting them. She completed professional training along with added two-year graduation in Education from Kurukshetra University. Her passion for this work has led her to transition to the field of inclusive education, where she developed expertise in curriculum designing and implementation for children with special needs. She takes great pride in her ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences that support the diverse needs of students. Additionally, she confounded non-profit organization, which touches lives of 600+ students currently.

While she completes a decade in education abroad industry, most recently, she had the invaluable opportunity to work closely with a marketing strategy building team for a pharmaceutical manufacturing firm. This experience has taught her much about the power of collaboration, innovation and adaptability.

Subsequently, she carries these diverse experiences through medical genetics, curriculum designing fundraising, and marketing, as an integral part of her identity.

Sweena's professional journey began in the admissions editing industry nine years ago. In this role at IDP Education Pvt. Ltd, she has honed her expertise in helping students achieve their dreams of studying abroad. Her work as an admissions editor involves assisting aspiring students in navigating the complex world of overseas education, ensuring their applications shine and stand out. Sweena's dedication to this field and her extensive experience have made her a trusted guide for countless students.

How did Sweena get involved with the Myra Foundation and what's her role in the organization's activities?

Myra Foundation holds a big place in her heart. The concept routed from her keen desire to educate children (who would study under tree, in public parks near her maternal house). She along with Meena Khanna started groundwork in 2017 and finally in 2019 registered the NGO. Over the last two years, her prime contribution has been towards planning, and advertising. At first, she helped set up and run campaigns to identify more children who were dropouts from various government schools. Over time, she became a major force in raising funds and making sure the foundation sustains. Because of her dedication, the Myra Foundation has helped more than 600 children, and they keep helping more. These children have progressed from hardly any vocabulary to making sentences in English and appearing for various Olympiads, Team Myra has come long way!

How has Sweena leveraged her expertise to create sustainable career opportunities through Skill Transfer?

One of Sweena's most significant professional achievements is her role in Skill Transfer. She has successfully translated her extensive experience and knowledge into a platform that empowers individuals to build sustainable careers. Skill Transfer provides a bridge between personal experiences and professional growth. Through this venture, Sweena's passion and expertise serve as a guiding light for others, helping them turn their experiences into fulfilling careers. She has trained teacher volunteers for Myra Foundation, various professionals for Education abroad editing and mentored freshers across the country in her previous role of Assistant Manager at Manya Education Pvt ltd.

How does Sweena's approach to challenges differ from the typical perspective, and what is her key strategy?

Sweena's philosophy towards handling hurdles is to be proactive. When faced with unexpected delays or challenges, she prefers to deal with step wise solutions rather than looking at the whole problem and being bogged down. To bring the team together and make them believe that it is a problem that we need to solve collectively has given her great results. We believe, she truly utilizes her active exposure from three different industries, effectively.

What are the specific areas of the company's operations that Sweena oversees at Synnat Pharma?

Sweena is a promoter at Synnat Pharma which manufactures bulk drugs meant for export. Here, she is responsible for customer interaction across MENA, and LATAM regions. Here she was able to convert an adhoc based approach to a professional one. She is actively involved in market analysis and lead conversions. She is involved in spearheading the company’s CSR activities. The CSR division was almost non - existent before Sweena took it up and set it buzzing. Sweena has also worked closely with the HR team to ensure better and more engaging team building activities are being implemented.
