In an exclusive interview with Women Entrepreneur magazine, Swati Sharma walks us through her professional journey and enlightens us about the unique traits of Artisto Network.
Take us through your early educational journey and the cross-functional & prior industry experience that you bring to the table. What motivated you to found artisto network?
I was a very fashionable starry eyed girl during my college days while I was pursuing architecture. As much as I was exploring designs, I was also getting creative with my clothes. During the time, Instagram was new where people were just stepping. At that point of time, I didn’t know what blogging or influencership was like and it was all pretty new to me. I had a blog and used to write about motivation, how to be a strong independent woman, as well as started posting my creative looks. I started receiving a huge response right away, and by the time I graduated from college, I was already getting a lot of brand endorsements. When all of those good brands approached me, I realized that this industry had something interesting for me. So after graduating from college and becoming an architect, I wanted to have a space, which was all about fashion and architecture. That's when I started Arch Attire, which talks about architecture and attire for fashion.
Since then I've never looked back, I've worked with more than 2700 brand collaborations in several industrial verticals including fashion, lifestyle, architecture, home decor, and more. I had gained much experience, traveled across the world, and represented my country at the international fashion weeks sitting in the front rows with big leading designers. It was very happening, it still is and I still am pursuing architecture as well. But there comes a time in your life when you realize that doing your own thing isn't enough to achieve your life purpose; you should also do things for others and that's how you grow. If you're doing something that could literally drive you over the edge, why not use that opportunity to help others do the same? That's when I established Artisto Network, with the intent of giving people the vision and support system to be independent in life and succeed on the digital front.
Tell us about the underlying idea behind the company and some of its most unique features.
Artisto Network is a full-service data-driven digital marketing agency that empowers brands & influencers by leading successful influencer marketing campaigns so that brands achieve their targets and create a huge digital impact. The mission of the company is to increase creator economics and make the industry a more secure space. Since I have been an influencer for the past eight years, I know what it takes for an influencer to be successful, what the pain points are, and what brands require. So I just reasoned by launching my firm, I'd be able to channel all of my knowledge and experience into building a better ecosystem for influencers.
Since the organization is headed by an influencer, we comprehend the psychology of the creator, the sentiment of an artist, and how to respect it. Having said that, we also fully understand the sentiments associated with a brand because they are the ones investing money in it and a significant portion of the economics of digital marketing depends on influencers and creators. We assist brands in discovering the power of authentic influence through organic storytelling and creative collaborations with empowering artists including bloggers, YouTubers, influencers, architects, and celebrities. Brands that collaborate with us achieve long-term growth, authentic customer engagement, a loyal audience base, and increased ROI.

Drawing from your experience as an experienced business leader, what would your advice be to budding young girls who also seek to become business leaders and entrepreneurs in the future?
All aspiring young girls, in my opinion, need to have confidence in themselves. You're bound to have failures, and you'll come to a breaking point in your life, but trust me, those breaking points are crucial because it's only after those breaking points that you'll progress. So just jump in, do what you want to achieve in life, and don't worry about how people will perceive if you take the step for yourself. If you want to do something, believe in yourself and take action. Take control of your life and don't let anyone else lead you. When it comes to work, one needs to be both calm and focused. The motivation should come from deep affection and confidence in your ability to succeed. The worst-case scenario is when your motivation comes from self-pity or a poor sense of self.
I love how the world is becoming now, there is no gender bias and I feel the moment you choose yourself the world has become such that they bow down to you. If you are a woman and want to stand out, the world will stand with you, if you have the right intention. And if you have that positive thought process in your mind and will do something, you’ll definitely succeed.
