What Motivated You To Establish Unirely? Tell Us About The Underlying Idea Behind The Platform And Its Unique Features.

I met Shreshta while both of us were studying at New York University, in 2014. We both have suffered through our application processes when applying to universities abroad and have been troubled by the lack of interest, commitment, and knowledge of traditional counseling services. Striving to make a difference by not repeating what was done to us, we ventured out of passion and a strong desire to help students. Thus, our sidekick UniRely debuted in September 2015 from Shreshta’s University dorm room, pitching in the concept of expert student mentors, which became an instant sensation among study abroad aspirants. During the early years, Shreshta acted as the engineer as well as designer for the entire platform. To keep up with the rising demands, after graduating from NYU, we eventually decided to take UniRely for a stroll in 2018, and got our venture officially registered in India.

The founding team of UniRely comprises Shreshta Khetan, myself, and Vishesh Khetan. In addition to running the company and setting an overall strategy, Shreshta also remains actively involved in other departments. He can often be found engaging directly with clients to develop customer-first strategic thinking that is behind the company’s success. Shreshta did his schooling at The Doon School, and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the esteemed New York University.

Now coming to myself, as a founding member of UniRely, I am responsible for ensuring that both the quality of the platform and the on boarding of the mentors are of the highest standard. I also work on multiple strategies such as analytics, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, and so on. I have completed my schooling from Welham Girls School in Dehradun and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University and have always been passionate about education and helping students acquire the academic, social, and personal competencies necessary to reach their higher education goals. Since UniRely’s inception, Vishesh has been responsible for driving the marketing strategies of the organization. He has a better experience and knowledge within the advertising industry, with a passion for customer relationship management. He ensures that the marketing team is continuously finding innovative solutions to inquiries and ideas. He attended The Doon School, and recently graduated from University of California, Davis where he majors in LECN and A.B.
