Among such praiseworthy personalities in the sector, Sapna Nair is a name we can never miss.

She has been recognized and respected as an inspiring entrepreneur, perfect strategist, and decision-maker of Convenient Construction Consultancy. Take us through your early journey. What motivated you to venture into a project management consulting firm in the construction field?

I started working in this field soon after completing civil engineering from Goa. I worked in various capacities and also headed multiple projects including Residential and Hospitality projects. Working on large projects was always my dream as a budding engineer. Both Rajesh, my better half, and I are from the same field so I decided to take a back seat during my kids' growing years. I opted to be a home engineer for a little while and later on, I ventured into convenience stores- setting up multiple stores in townships in Indore city which has now been our home city since 2002.

In 2011, my husband decided to move from the corporate World – The Entrepreneur Bug bit us and we decided to get into setting up a one-stop Convenient Consulting firm to help and support the issues encountered by developers. Since we were from the same field, it was but natural to venture into Project Management which is one of the verticals of CCCPL.

Can you give us a brief overview of Convenient Construction Consultancy? What are some important features of your expertise as a business leader?

Convenient Construction Consultancy (P) Ltd, is a consulting firm that provides a complete range of professional, technical, and support services across various sectors: Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Industrial, Residential, and Retail. We collaborate with our clients to help them excel in industry standards and improve performance by blending diverse expertise and keeping keen foresight to facilitate projects and mitigate risk.

From concept, pre-construction to project closeout our elite team has proven themselves in successfully labouring of stubborn challenges and lives up to every facet of being called competent service professional. As a multi-disciplined Engineering Consulting firm, we are committed to delivering excellence to our clients by maintaining the highest standards of quality.

What have been the most significant milestones that you have achieved so far in your professional journey? What is your guiding leadership philosophy?

Being part of the CCCPL Leadership has been a significant milestone in the growth path. I truly believe that anything can be learned and achieved with dedication, patience, and with the team members who at all times are your partner in the growth of any Organisation.

Highlight upon your roles & responsibilitiesat Convenient Construction Consultancy? What are some of the most challenging aspects of your role as the Director? How do you overcome them?

Currently, I am a whole-time Director of CCCPL where I shoulder responsibilities of Entire Group’s Administration, HR, Finance, and Accounts. HR is the most challenging which needs a more motherly treatment to handle and being a mother to 2 lovely teens I am able to understand the emotions of the employees and their families which further helps me to handle critical situations on a personal note.

What led you to dive into the field of construction? What plans did you lay ahead for Convenient Construction Consultancy?

Since childhood, I have been fascinated with Building and have wanted to be an Interior Designer or an Architect, but decided to take up Civil Engineering as the execution was always close to my heart.

At CCCPL, we look at expanding our Geography to new cities, African Countries where there is huge potential and need for experienced Consulting firms, also into new sectors such as data centres, infrastructure, etc.
