What Are Some Essential Aspects Of Your Competence As A Marketing And Communications Professional?
I have a double MBA in Marketing and Finance, however, I eventually decided to pursue a career in marketing, and it's been nearly two decades since I've worked in this field. It was completely traditional offline media marketing when I first started working in this profession; radio, print, and television were the most popular mediums of advertising at that time. But over the years, I've come to see that everything is moving toward the digital world, and I've stepped up my career to be in sync with the market needs.Being a digital native puts me in a privileged position where I comprehend how technology and digital assets are utilized and can assist businesses in bridging the gap between their digital and offline marketing.
Very few marketers can seamlessly transition from digital to offline or vice versa; the vast majority of them focus only on one or the other. And, in many cases, massive 360-degree campaigns include not just a strong digital strategy but also a robust offline media such as radio or outdoor strategy to achieve a business’s goal. Several digital marketers do not comprehend how everything works together, but my unique combination of online and offline (Omni Channel) marketing skills sets me apart from the rest.

My husband has been running his own business for the last 15+ years. He has always encouraged me to turn into an entrepreneur to learn and advance my business skills and develop a bold mindset that would enable me to be brave, take risks, and believe in myself. His words helped me recognize the importance of learning about a firm from an entrepreneurial point of view setting, as compared to a traditional corporate job one and it has given me the ability to understand everything around business risks, potential opportunity, and how to turn those opportunities around to wins. Being an entrepreneur has also helped me develop a 360 view of running a business.
When we work in a job, for example, we are solely responsible for the activities of the team with whom we are actively connected. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, encourages us to wear several hats and handle all aspects of running a business, and grow unique skill sets and mind-set. To grow as an individual and develop my skills beyond what a regular corporate job would teach me, I decided to become an entrepreneur in 2017 and founded Inbound Heart Digital Marketing.The motivation for establishing Inbound Heart was to help SMEs and start-ups that are cash-strapped but need top digital expertise to grow their business. However, my reputation as a digital marketer preceded me and I found myself working for bigger clients like Mercedes Benz in Saudi Arabia, Merz Aesthetics, the Commercial Bank of Dubai, and more instead.

So far, I have led Digital Transformation for an MNC across the Middle East and worked on 30+ clients across finance/ Medical/Pharma/ Automotive/ F&B/ E-commerce and more. I have also trained over 20+ women SME entrepreneurs (Free of Cost) in the use of digital channels to help them grow their brands. But I knew that there is a demand for an agency for SMEs as well and this led me to establish a second digital agency called Right Click Hyve, which solely works with small businesses and start-ups.
Throw Some Light On The Various Roles And Responsibilities That You Shoulder As The Digital Marketing Director? What Are Your Primary Focus Areas At The Company?
As the owner of a business, you are generally responsible for numerous tasks at once. Apart from looking at your company's growth, it's equally important to consider the growth of your clients. I am a strong believer that if my clients grow, so does my company. This means that I help my clients develop and scale their businesses using digital channels like websites, social media, paid ads, content marketing, lead generation, and more. It is also necessary for me to think about how I can improve the growth of my firm, as well. Furthermore, I must look after my team, including how they are doing and their overall well-being. In my role as an entrepreneur, I am responsible for all of these duties and more.
Drawing From Your Experience As A Successful Business Leader, What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women And Girls Who Also Aspire To Become Business Leaders And Entrepreneurs In The Future?
There are no fast victories in the world of business, and if you want to succeed, you’ll have to put in a lot of effort. Most of the time, I’ve seen, the younger generation seeks immediate gratification or else gives up. That’s not how life works; to see little improvements over time, you must continue to put in the effort. Another piece of advice I’d give is to dream big. Don’t allow anybody to stop you from achieving your goals or tell you that your concept isn't original. The most important thing I'd want all women and girls to remember is to have a strategy in place before embarking on any new endeavor and develop your path and develop confidence in your ability to succeed.
