Give Us A Brief Overview Of Capthical. What Are The Key Aspects That Helped The Firm To Emerge As An Eminent Player In The Accounting And Tax Consultancy Domain?

A business service outsourcing company that exclusively offers Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Taxation services to Australian clients, Capthical is solely focused on developing new and effective methods using technology to make accounting interest- ing. At Capthical, we follow the SCRUM methodology (breaking a complex process into a small and meaningful process) and assign each process to an expert team member. This approach has helped us keep our quality and quick turnaround time for our valuable clients. This field was full of challenges like timing differences, communication, trust-building, and so on. Meeting each challenge with a pragmatic approach, Capthical’s exponential growth keeps the entire team motivated and encourages us to give our best each day.

Tell Us About The Various Roles And Responsibilities You Shoulder As The Founder And CEO At Capthical. What Are Your Primary Focus Areas In Your Current Role?

The title of CEO/Founder is not that easy to enjoy, because the concerned person needs to perform up to that level. Challenges have always attracted me and I like it when I make strategies for the company and see how they work. Each Strategy is equal to hours of brainstorming and that’s what I love about my role; it keeps me alive.

"I think as an entrepreneur, I should not limit my Scope of work; it should Be anything that company Feels i am capable of Doing and it adds value to Company"

Starting my journey with Capthical from ground level, I even painted my office desks. So, I think the CEO/ Founder is not someone who just sits in a chamber and ask people to work, rather it’s all about doing what the company needs no matter how small job it is. I think like an entrepreneur, I should not limit my scope of work; it should be anything that company feels I am capable of doing and it adds value to the company.

What Are Some Of The Most Pressing Challenges That You Encounter As An Accounting Professional? How Do You Successfully Mitigate These Challenges?

Keeping things easy and simple, meanwhile making the utmost use of technology is something I find to be challenging. I always prefer breaking down complex problems into chunks and then solving them. Regarding the use of technology, I prefer having most of the things automated at my office, so that, it saves our time and we can focus on productive things.

In Your Opinion What Are Some Of The Most Significant Milestones That You Have Achieved Throughout Your Professional Journey? What Has Been The Driving Force Behind Your Success As A Business Leader?

Becoming a successful CA is one of the first milestones that I am quite proud of. Bringing Capthical from a single table in one room to an office with 10 team members working with us in just 6 months is another of my prolific achievements. Of course, my co-founder (who is my husband as well) and my brother who always guided me has helped me in achieving this and I am proud of the journey we have taken so far and the successes we have managed to achieve as an organization.

How Do You Foresee The Indian Accounting And Auditing Landscape Evolving Shortly? What Steps Do You Take To Keep Yourself Aligned With These Evolutions?

I think, two aspects need to be focused upon. First is the use of technology to make professional life easy and productive. Accountants should use practice management tools, human resource management tools, and different accounting software that is more automated and cloud-based. The second aspect is creating an amazing work culture. Ensuring that your team also grows with you, while they learn, remain motivated, and enjoy working is important. Having a healthy work culture is important and that will help grow the business exponentially.

Drawing From Your Experience As An Experienced Business Leader, What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women And Girls Who Also Aspire To Become Business Leaders And Entrepreneurs In The Future?

I would advise them to be bold, take decisions (wrong or right), have their opinion, and be ambitious. Never give up on your dreams no matter what. Women/girls are blessed with strong emotions and management skills, and these attributes help them a lot when they are playing the role of aleader.
