Former US Senator Luther Strange once said that a job is the best cure for economic upliftment. Now we have got 85% people lying on their CV that makes India stand fourth in the Asia Pacific region for CV discrepancies. Over 70% of our workforce stays in the rural areas and the jobs are concentrated on the 20 major cities out of the 497 cities we have in India.How do we bring the 220 million active job seekers into the mainstream? This is why we have developedan amazing AI driven algorithm matching CV system that selects the candidates and puts them across the companies.
But what happens to the candidates who are not able to articulate their CVs.Are they not deserving enough or the candidates who are not able to reach to the interview platforms? Are they not talented enough? We at Interview Air have come up with an AI based asynchronous video interviewing multi linguistic marketplace where we are actually targeting the Tier-II, Tier-III and Tier-IV to cut their cost in travel and arrange the multiple rounds of interviews bringing together the companies, the colleges the candidates, the consultants all under one roof.
How Does The Interview Air Platform Work? What Are The Challenges That It Is Trying To Solve?
On the basis of the candidate's profile i.e education, experience and skills, few questions that is raised from an interviewer viewpoint are being popped up to the candidate. Filling this is pretty simple. It can be easily done by using a simple smart phone and within a comfortable time frame. The challenge that we are trying to resolve is that 31 percent of the people don't actually reach for the interviews. The talent pool that is reaching to the company is pretty low and we are trying to increase that. Second is reimbursement which means minimum travel. Most of the companies in India don't reimburse.

Also during our journey we have recorded over 20 thousand minutes of video interviews and we are in the process of coming in psychometric traits where we will be able to predict the humbleness, effectiveness and cooperativeness of the candidate and we are going to raise a report which will be submitted to the companies so that their assessment can be much better.Lastly, we envision a world where no geographic barriers and economic barriers existwhere all colleges get campus placements and all candidates get a level playing field. How Do You Position Yourselves In The Market?
How do you differentiate yourselves from the other players in the market? Primarily, we are not positioning ourselves as a job platform.We are an interviewing platform where we are assisting companies to conduct their multiple rounds of interviews. If a company has selected 10 candidates for interview for a fixed time slot, all this company needs to do is give a link to those candidates and say that before they come down to the office, why don't they actually give the interview through this platform. This makes us stand out because in the process we are getting the candidates registered on the system.We are also getting the jobs from the company and we are also making revenue. If you see the other side, the candidates are actually feeling it to be easier because of that. It is just with a smartphone that they can apply for multiple rounds. This is the reason why we are positioning ourselves not as a job portal, we are positioning ourselves with the interviews so that we can coordinate with everything and move forward like that.
