Hyperlink Brand Solutions is exactly doing the same, they take visions and sculpt them into reality. Under the leadership of Pratiksha Vaidya, the company engages and executes corporate as well as brand-led events and activations ranging from awards shows, summits, conferences, reward & recognition programs, school & college activations, mall promotions, cultural movements, digital events, and more. They also help clients to amplify events & experiences through innovative, sometimes disruptive marketing strategies.
Pratiksha Vaidya is working as the Senior Vice President for Business Development & Client Servicing with Hyperlink Brand Solutions. Before finishing her Global Business Management from IIM-Lucknow, she completed Bachelor's in Science (majoring in Chemistry), and then acquired a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics & Science. She began her work life early on, right off while still completing her graduation started her professional career as a teacher but then she chose to pursue her career in the edutainment field. There was a clear pattern and inclination towards working with or for the youth. The energy was something she was drawn to. And she believes, this was the part in her career where she honed her people management skills. Having ventured on the path, she first held the Events Head position with EduMedia India, and prior to joining Hyperlink Brand Solutions, also worked as the designated Senior Vice President for Events & Activation at Fountainhead MKTG. She believes that being resilient at every step of the journey helps one to overcome all the challenges that one might face. Hence, being a very open-minded & adaptable kind of person, she thrives to collaborate in the digital space with on-ground experiences.

Introduce us to Hyperlink Brand Solutions. Tell us about the various responsibilities you shoulder at the Hyperlink.
Hyperlink Brand Solutions was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, albeit at a time when the experiential marketing space had taken a huge backseat given the multitude of restrictions at that time. However, we drove our resources to continue servicing our clients to innovate and create experiences, digital in nature, allowing our clients to still connect with their bases and interact with their networks. We strived to stay proactive even when it seemed like there was no possibility of executing anything with the lockdowns and restrictions. Still, we pulled off successfully and in-line with regulation events. Hyperlink is all about multi-dimensional storytelling, meaning we see a story, a concept, or a vision in any idea we bring to the table and carefully nurture it into a full-bloom property or experience. Building our corporate plethora of business, servicing the various teams, and delivering successful events are some of the few roles I personally take on.
But, I believe that keeping the business running is a collective effort where every hand is involved, right from the top to the junior level staff. Furthermore, looking at the front face of it is not what this business is about, it is vitally important to check in with your team, something I believe to be crucial to collective and individual growth. Ensuring the team is working with a positive spirit and not feeling the weight or the pressure of the job is a task one needs to take on, because hands and legs of your business can make or break you. Always, keep the team happy and content, despite the workload and the rest will follow.

What are some of the key strategies that you employ for driving business growth at Hyperlink?
Our company consists of a team of specialists that help curate and create engaging stories for brands and narrative structures across various forms of media. We constantly ensure we stay fresh and relevant which means that while the experiences have their regular checklists to follow to bring the finesse, one must keep diversity and inclusivity when creating shows. Another critical factor is to give a platform to the younger generation and encourage them to take the spotlight. With the evolving world, allow for the ones that are growing in it to direct us onto the new paths an organization must take to steer ahead of the rest. New ideas, and concepts, fused with the knowledge of the modern world’s nuances, are strong tools for a company to hold on to and extensively develop and allow to grow.
Tell us about some of the toughest challenges you faced and how you overcome them.
With several new players joining the industry every day, staying relevant and ahead is a challenge. We need to constantly ideate and ensure that we churn out experiences that are fresh, apparent, and enticing to the masses. Being innovative in a world where technology and media are ever-evolving is the key and applying said tech & media to one’s experience is the lock. Marrying those two is what one as an individual must bring to the table. Beyond this and the woe of every organization, is ensuring one is financially stable so as to keep the business afloat, to keep your colleagues and peers happy, to and also ensure the output of the organization is always optimized churning out the best and most delightful experiences.
What role has your Alma Mater IIM Lucknow played in shaping you as a leader?
I always remember IIM Lucknow at every step of my journey. The relationships with my peers and professors are ones I hold dear, as every interaction, every conversation, and every learning I carry with me. I believe no knowledge is useless and everything we learn is instrumental to our growth. I am proud to say that all that knowledge & wisdom I carry with me has driven me to this very point in my life.
What would be your advice to young women and girls who also aspire to become business leaders in the future?
My advice is that one must focus and prioritize what helps them grow and work towards those targets. Putting in the hard work is step one, and actioning and ensuring you meet those goals with the critique given to you, is step two. Be open-minded and accept feedback from the ones that you identify are helping you grow. And most importantly, invest time in the building, and nurturing relationships with your networks.
