Neha Chaturvedi: Powering Through With Insight, Dedication & A Keen Understanding Of People
Neha Chaturvedi
Director, Valuecent
In today’s world, businesses need consultation assistance in a number of verticals. Having separate firms catering to different needs is often found to be not the most efficient. In such cases, having a multi-disciplinary firm on board proves to be useful as it provides more comprehensive services which ensure effective communication, single responsibility point, streamlined coordination, and seamless knowledge transfer.
Providing the many usefulness of a multi-disciplinary firm is Valuecent, a boutique firm which offers high quality services in business advisory, tax & regulatory, audit and assurance, to clients who are looking to expand their business horizons in India and international markets. Valuecent Consultancy is a member firm of Antea International, a Leading Alliance of Independent Firms which is ranked amongst the top 20 in the world.
Neha Chaturvedi, Director, is ensuring that Valucent continues to provide impeccable value to its customers by helping them unleash their potential in this ever-emerging global economy and provide them a strategic approach to achieve the desired goal.

Tell us about your expertise as a business leader at Valuecent
Being a business leader and being associated with Valuecent give me great pride. Valuecent is a leading service provider of consultancy services in international business where we basically help companies set up their global business. The array of services we provide is very wide both in terms of the clientele, because we serve right from startups to unicorns, and the offerings we have which includes international tech structuring, global expansion, raising international funding, India outbound and inbound services et al. The quality of services that we provide at Valusent is unparalleled - especially, with our quick turnaround time where we have a policy of reverting to our clients within 24 hours. We have completed 10 years being a niche service provider in India with our inbound and outbound services and that establishes us securely in this area.
Take us through your early educational journey and prior industry experience that you bring to table.
I come from a family of doctors and engineers and always aspired to be a doctor right from the start. But in my second year of BDS, I met my husband, Vikas Chaturvedi, who is also the Co-founder and Business Partner in Valuecent. We got married and I left my initial pursuits to be a doctor. But since I was ambitious I restarted my educational journey and completed my MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and later completed a degree in Interior Designing from the London School of Designing. My first professional work came from being a freelance interior designer in the Netherlands. That experience helped me develop my people-oriented leadership skills, in understanding quality, and people. After we moved back from Holland, my husband and I started Valuecent and now we are in four different locations across the globe. My history has been very varied, and enriching in different ways.
"To be a leader, you first have to believe in yourself. Never be content with what you have, always aspire for more"
Can you tell us about your roles and responsibilities?
As the Director of the company, I look after the Human Resources administration and the finance aspect of the Valuecent group. I ensure the smooth running of all operations, with my focus area being ensuring that the human resources are on a constant path of growth and development. I believe that an organisation cannot grow if its resources are not growing with it. Our global presence mandates that the Valuecent group amalagtes various cultures that evolve together as a global company.
Can you tell us about some of the challenges that you have encountered in your current role?
Our business is very dynamic and the rules keep changing, politically and work wise. One of the major challenges we face is finding and hiring the right set of people. We look at candidates who bring in a lot of things to the table, not just theoretical qualifications. We look for people who have good technical knowledge, knowhow of global standards and the right attitude. If their aptitude is right and they are eager to learn and grow, we hire them and continually train and upskill them.
What would be your advice to the upcoming leaders of the future?
To be a leader, you first have to believe in yourself. Never be content with what you have, always aspire for more. If you believe in it, whatever it might be, work towards it and make it happen. I also believe that our real strength comes from people who surround us. It is very important to nurture every relationship that comes along, be it personal or professional. As a leader it is very important to have faith in our strengths and also to value the strength in others.
