Take Us Through Your Early Educational Journey & Prior Industry Experience That You Bring To The Table. What Motivated You To Become An Entrepreneur?

I am a Bachelor of Science graduate after which I completed my MBA in Australia. I always wanted to be a part of a business organization that is not confined to conventional norms. I wanted to work for a business that can have a positive impact on others and this passion to be a change-bringer is what drives me even today. Even when facing overwhelming challenges, the ability to help others pushes me to look past those challenges and move forward. And now owing to our team work & resilience, we have developed into a fast-growing global provider of subscription-based customer engagement technologies that includes loyalty and rewards programs for corporates & consumers, custom marketplaces & live streaming eCommerce solutions.

Throw Some Light On The Various Roles And Responsibilities That You Shoulder As The Managing Director? Also, What Are Some Of The Major Challenges That You Faced In The Industry?

As one of the thought-leaders of My Rewards, there are situations where I have to wear multiple hats at the same time. With that said, some of my key responsibilities include: Strategic direction of the business and growth, Finance and Compliance, & Shareholder relations.

I believe that challenges are part and parcel of running a business but some of the most pressing challenges that I have faced constantly in my professional career is navigating through this unforgiving market place and consistently producing results to deliver value to the shareholders. Both these are a constant endeavor but my passion for consistent improvement helps me to cope up with these challenges. Apart from that, I believe that people are the most important aspect of any business. Having great employees and an aligned senior management team is the key to mitigating business challenges.

In Your Opinion What Have Been Some Of The Most Significant Milestones That You Have Achieved So Far In Your Professional Journey?

I started working in My Rewards as a part time casual worker in 2010. Since then, I have worked in multiple positions in the company and finally invested in the company myself. This has been a great and fulfilling journey for me. Aside from that, taking the company through ASX listing process and successfully list it on the Australian Stock Exchange has been a great milestone for me as well.

What Steps Do You Take To Keep Yourself Aligned With The Latest Industry Trends?

I am a passionate learner, so I always keep on learning, whether it is formal study, reading, listening to key individuals in the industry & even employees. All these are great mediums for me to remain current in the industry consistently.

What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women And Girls Who Also Aspire To Become Business Leaders And Entrepreneurs In The Future?

You can do anything you set your mind to. Be confident, stay positive and remember failure is just a part of the road to success. Also, as I said before, people are the most important part any company. Treat them how you want them to treat your company. If you help your employees achieve their dreams and goals at work & off work, they will deliver you success.
