Over the course of her career, she has established several luxurious medical centres in three countries. Her commitment and involvement in every phase of the process, from construction to branding and hiring, have developed her expertise within the medical industry.
At the beginning of her journey, Lubna initially started the hair transplant department with one doctor and three nurses. This department now consists of more than four doctors and sixteen hair transplant technicians and nurses. Under her leadership, Bizrahmed now accommodates over five hair transplant cases a day, with an impressive success rate.
We asked Lubna what she believes has contributed to her success and she believes “one of the crucial elements in providing top-quality care is the recruitment and continuous training of healthcare professionals.” She has created training programs giving young and ambitious nurses an opportunity to progress in their careers. Under her extensive six-month training program, nurses gain the experience needed to be able to join the hair transplant team of Bizrahmed.
Lubna has vast experience working across the United Kingdom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, and has learned how to deal with various health authorities, as well as developing a distinctive approach to marketing strategies, client management, and patient expectations. Her resilience and agility towards her work are seen in her approach to managing what is recognized as a top centre for plastic surgery and hair transplants in the GCC that caters to an international clientele.
Lubna is a tenacious professional who does not believe in limits. This nature has not only reflected in her career but in her personal life as well. We asked her how she manages to reduce her stress levels, she emphasized the importance of exercise, selfawareness, and emotional intelligence when it comes to reflecting and understanding her own emotions and that of her teams.

Tell us about Bizrahmed and its specializations.
Bizrahmed is globally reputed for two unique services that are; hair transplants and rhinoplasty, working with one of the top 10 rhinoplasty surgeons in the world and employing the most experienced team in hair transplants. Our services include facial aesthetic surgeries, plastic surgeries, hair transplants, cosmetic gynecology, men’s health, skin, and laser treatments. Our clients are residents of the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates, Australia, Nigeria, and far more. We craft an extraordinary journey, where we are with our clients at every step, providing exceptional care and ultimate comfort within our state-of-the-art facilities.
Tell us about the company’s growth journey since its inception.
Bizrahmed has come a long way. We started by taking up several consultation rooms in an independent medical centre - at that time we only offered facial plastic surgery procedures. We then built a day-care centre equipped with the most advanced surgical equipment and high-quality anti-bacterial vinyl cladding. In a few short months, once we evaluated patient ethics and the standard of surgical care - we decided to sell the day care and build a luxurious centre specialized in all aspects of cosmetic surgeries and treatments. The main reason we chose this transformation is that we wanted our patients to be in the best possible care of numerous doctors of different specialties. For instance, all our major surgeries are performed in a separate prestigious hospital that is fully equipped with surgical rooms, recovery areas, wards, and emergency units. Though this adds costs to our company, we are happy to accept a reduction in our profits, to protect the health and wellbeing of our clients.

Shed some light on the multiple departments that you have built at Bizrahmed. What strategies did you employ to increase market share and revenues?
When you are given an opportunity to work for a top surgeon and establish a company, you are able to expand your knowledge, push your limits and build departments from zero. For example, I started our marketing department with one social media executive and then hired an online marketing executive who was responsible for Google ads, SEM, and SEO. Once Bizrahmed diversified its services, the two marketing executives I had could not provide me with the paid ad strategies needed to drive in more traffic. I then promoted my executives to marketing manager and online marketing lead while hiring a couple of SEO specialists, and a design team consisting of the head of design, designer, and videographers. By doing so we had a full team of paid ad managers, a full in-house design team, photographers, videographers, and an SEO team to rank us on page one. Recently, we have hired website designers and developers and now have our own marketing agency, Upcci, that caters to selected brands. Upcci helps brands reach their target audience and grow their businesses.

Another example is the client experience. There is great emphasis on attention to detail as we wanted our clients to feel the ambiance from the moment they enter Bizrahmed. It is as little as the scent, the instrumental music playing, the warm greeting of the reception team, the hug of the comfortable armchairs, the beverages offered, and the selection of the highly experienced medical team that makes Bizrahmed special.
How do you plan to revolutionize the cosmetic surgery and hair transplant industry?
We revolutionized the hair transplant industry when we first launched this department. By spending heavily on marketing - including influencer campaigns, welcoming medical tourism, and slashing prices, we were able to acquire market share and build demand for this service.
I recall speaking to clients who have travelled abroad and asking them why they had chosen us for their hair transplant procedure. The client said, “I had a choice to come to Bizrahmed or travel to another country. I chose Bizrahmed.” International clients choose us because of our reputation and happy patient rates. It is impressive how one centre was compared with an entire country; this proves how Bizrahmed did indeed revolutionize the hair transplant industry. At Bizrahmed, we continually improve the way we do things as I personally believe there is no limit to one’s creativity or knowledge. For example, my surgeons and I are constantly attending medical conferences to identify the latest developments. We acquire the most advanced surgical techniques.

For example, with hair transplants, the use of blue gemstone and sapphire blades when it comes to creating slits in the recipient area. By adopting such a technique, we are able to achieve greater density per centimetre square, and is generally softer on the scalp. For every patient and for any procedure, we provide complimentary follow-up care for up to a year. This is to ensure our patients are well taken care of to reach optimal results according to their case, and to be there with them at every step of their transformational journey.
What are your future plans, and what are your top priorities for 2023?
In the coming year, I plan to increase our presence and have e-clinics in cities around the UAE and the Gulf. To increase the percentage of medical tourism and improve the personal concierge service by improving client experience for a smoother transformational journey. Moreover, to continually innovate surgical techniques and how we do things, including providing our staff with continuous educational training.

Lubna has been a student of Jeddah Prep and Grammar School and graduated from Kings College London BSc in Business Management. She has lived in KSA and London, which allowed her to see both worlds and taught her to adapt to different cultures as well as communicate well with different nationalities. The experiences have shaped her into an unbiased & openminded individual.
