Tell us about the uniqueness of your brainchild `Resvera Winery'.
While being a people-centric person, I have understood that all of us deserve a healthy lifestyle. We all know that alcohol is injurious to health, and the whole idea of Resvera Winery is to nurture an environment of responsible winemaking. For those who want to party hard and yet stay healthy, Resvera produces wine from the God of Fruits `Jamun'.
Most of us must have heard people saying grape wine/red wine is good for the heart and skin. What if I say that Jamun wine is 20x times healthier? Yes, that's true. There's nothing that can be compared to the health benefits of Jamun. From treating diabetes to asthma and arthritis, its benefits are unparalleled. Although it's seasonal with less shelf life, we took up the challenge to create a nutritive range of wine.
Walk us through your journey. What promoted you to foray into entrepreneurship?
I completed a degree in Computer Engineering and understood technology well. However, unlike the majority, I never wanted to settle for a job. My thought process was to live a life of abundance. This conscious decision along with my spirit of innovation and urge to add value gave birth to the enterprising spirit in me.

Highlight your expertise, and how it is helping you lead a high-performing team at Resvera?
While I have gained exposure to finance, marketing, HR, and more, creating a happy vibe at the workplace has always been there in me. Which helped us steer our previous venture ESDS to Rank 2nd in Great Place to Work for four consecutive years. Even at Resvera, our goal is to make people feel `Wow! It's Monday' instead of feeling `Thank God, It's Friday'. I always focus on motivating the team and keep them satisfied as they are the asset to our growth.
Apart from this, we didn't want to take a conventional path. We instead took an innovative trail to add value to people and the environment. Making wine out of Jamun is our Blue Ocean Strategy.
What is the leadership philosophy that drives you?
We live by the mantra, "Good is the enemy of Great". We always look for greatness and our product is craft-ed by the World's Best Winemakers from Canada. As a marketer, I believe that word of mouth is the best way to increase the reach of Resvera. This will happen only if the product is great and not just good.
We take pride in saying that we have not received any negative feedback on the quality of our product. Sourced from the wild forests of Mahabaleshwar, the sparkling, tasteful, and zesty Resvera Wines are healthy and nutritious.
How do you strike a balance between your work and personal life?
A woman has to wear multiple hats. We can't be everywhere, but we have to achieve something and do justice to our family. I know to set my priorities right and set timelines for my role. Every evening, I love playing and spending time with my two little boys. I do have my personal time as an ardent reader.
