Galia Hirscha: Revolutionary Leader Developing Strong Strategy With Consecutive Phases

GALIA HIRSCH
CEO, Onxy Radiance

"Perseverance is the most crucial attribute a business leader can possess, in my opinion. Even if you have the most amazing product or service in the world, it won't matter if you don't make the most of every minute and devote yourself completely to your objective," states Galia Hirsch, the CEO of ONYX Radiance.

Following the philosophy of spreading positive energies, Galia Hirsch established ONYX Radiance in 2015. ONYX Radiance is a leading luxury brand in the fields of beauty, health, and wellness. The company uses next-generation active smart textiles with minerals embedded in their pillowcases, shirts, head wraps, scarves, and now premium-quality antiviral face masks to directly transfer the natural therapeutic advantages of these minerals to the skin, improving well-being in a variety of ways.

Tell us about what led to the foundation of ONYX Radiance? What compelled you to venture into the cosmetics industry by way of creating innovative bedding solutions?

It has always been my aim to be an entrepreneur and business leader, but I have always known that it had to be the right business - one that I can fully support and devote myself to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Unfortunately, my interest in active textiles derives from a personal tragedy. My father had open-heart surgery several years ago and he had the good fortune of being treated by the best surgeon in the country, and the operation went well. He did, however, get a serious infection while in the hospital. My father was suffering from an ailment that appeared to be incurable for six months, then we were told about a Tel Aviv -based infectious disease specialist who had experienced success in treating these illnesses using silver. However, it was too late and only a few days later, my father died.

Infections like the one that killed my father have now surpassed cancer as the leading cause of death in hospitals around the world. Infections, impact people all over the world in a variety of settings, since hazardous bacteria, viruses, and fungi frequently cause skin irritation and blemishes. To neutralize these environmental aggressors, ONYX Radiance uses unique compounds comprising antibacterial minerals like zinc and silver. Wearing or sleeping on ONYX smart antibacterial textiles helps to treat numerous skin disorders (Acne, dermatitis/eczema, psoriasis, seborrhea, and more), reduce inflammation, support in anti-ageing and promote overall healthier, fresher, and clearer skin thanks to these broad-spectrum ‘‘natural antibiotics’’. Furthermore, many people have discovered that these active textiles have numerous health benefits, including the elimination of allergies, the reduction of migraines, the prevention of hair loss, and the promotion of much better sleep quality.

‘‘As an entrepreneur and CEO, you must, nevertheless, have the confidence and boldness to make decisions and keep going forward’’

How do you drive ONYX Radiance's growth as the company's key leader?

Given the nature of our service, it's critical to strike a balance between general and targeted audiences. Because ONYX Radiance goods are important to everyone on the planet (at least those who wear clothing and sleep in beds!), we've been focusing on increasing brand awareness through social media, which is a very effective approach to reach a large number of people. This has been an efficient method of increasing our visibility and growing the ONYX brand. However, given the importance of our portfolio's medical and healthcare components, we are conscious that more targeted efforts pay off as well. This is why ONYX has been attending international conferences and collaborating with top dermatologists and cosmetic medicine specialists. Yes, we want to market ONYX Radiance to healthcare professionals, but we also recognize the value of learning from their knowledge and unique viewpoints, as well as testing our wellness products through clinical trials.

How has your journey been as a business leader so far?

Being an entrepreneur is an experience that consumes you completely. It's also constantly surprising, in both good and bad ways. I believe that no one knows what they're getting themselves into, regardless of their history or whether they're top of their class at Harvard Business School (and that might be especially true for many women). You simply have to have the resilience, perseverance, determination, and mental stamina required to keep going - to develop a firm from the ground up and lead it into the unknown.

As a successful business leader, what advice would you present to young women and girls who aspire to follow in your footsteps and become business leaders?

Perseverance is crucial, nothing should be able to deter you from your goal if you truly believe in it. No one knew what smart antibacterial fabrics were at the start of ONYX. As a result, I spent at least two years traveling across the country, meeting with beauty and healthcare professionals. I'd also stress the necessity of cultivating strong, positive connections with everyone in your circle customers, partners, employees, and contacts because you'll be able to accomplish more when you have the proper people to help and advise you. As an entrepreneur and CEO, you must, nevertheless, have the confidence and boldness to make decisions and keep going forward. Every entrepreneur, in my opinion, should embrace the idea that every negative response is a doorway to a favorable response.
