Established in 2008, Beau Aesthetica is headquartered in Cochin, Kerala. Back in the time of its inception, cosmetic dermatology was still almost a here say in the state . The evolving concepts of beauty and the changing trends of anti-aging treatments weren't that popular and most of the dermatologists were either practising pure general dermatology or some minor cosmetic dermatology procedures in the midst of their busy general dermatology practice. Thus when I came in with Beau Aesthetica and my expertise as a pure Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic, there were a lot of surprised looks and raised eyebrows. But over years, things slowly started changing and currently we are one of the leading cosmetic dermatology centers in the state.

Take Us Through Your Early Educational Journey And Prior Industry Experience That You Bring To The Table?

After completing my MBBS & MD from TD Medical College Alleppey, I travelled to Mumbai. In the city of dreams under the expert guidance of Dr Rekha Sheth, I ventured into Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr Rekha Sheth has been the pioneer in Cosmetic Dermatology in India and is the one who introduced Cosmetic Dermatology to India. Under her expert guidance I could master the prevalent concepts and techniques of cosmetic dermatology and establish a strong hold in this section of medicine.

Coming back to Kerala, I started my career by joining a Medical College. I also worked with some of the private hospitals in Cochin. However, I soon realised that in order to impart my knowledge and skill in the right manner with efficiency to my patients, I need to have my own clinic where I can tailor make the treatments according to patients' needs and their pockets. With an eye for perfection and love for beauty and the humanitarian concept of imparting proper care and skilful techniques rightly, I started my clinic Beau Aesthetica, the mantra of which is "Unveil the Real Beauty in You."

What Are The Various Procedures And Treatments That Beau Aesthetica Largely Specializes In?

The hours that I work, I do it with passion, spending enough time with my patients, understanding their concerns through discussions and deciding what best can be done for them. At Beau Aesthetica, we offer all advanced and skilful modern cosmetic dermatology procedures, from various kinds of laser treatments, chemical peels, botulinum toxin and filler injections, meso therapy treatments, thread lifts, tightening treatments and lipolytic injections. Given The All-Consuming Nature Of Your Profession, How Do You Strike A Balance Between Your Professional And Personal Life?

Being a single parent with a young daughter I have witnessed lots of hardships both personally and professionally. But that never deterred me from pursuing my path to excellence and success and kept the going well, focusing on my goals and thus built the Beau Aesthetica of today.  And I even have Beau Aesthetica Academy where I train young dermatologists who spend time with me getting proper experience and hands on training on various Cosmetic Dermatology procedures. Thus I ensure passing the baton of knowledge to the coming generations.

I am passionate not only about my profession, but also deeply in love with nature, books, travel, animals and plants and try finding time for these whenever I can. I also love watching a lot of movies. I have travelled to more than 20 countries and taken part in a plethora of adventure sports. These experiences have really helped me understand what and where beauty lies.
