Take us through your early educational journey and prior industry experience. What compelled you to foray into the field of gynaecology?

I was born in Delhi, but my family relocated to Hyderabad because my father was a physicist who worked in the Atomics Minerals Division there. My entire education, from nursery to class nine, took place in Hyderabad, and I owe a lot of this well-rounded education to the city. After we relocated to Delhi, I enrolled in the Delhi Public School and later the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and worked for a while. Following that, I received a Commonwealth scholarship to train in IVF, for which I relocated to London. I stayed there for three years, spending the initial years getting trained and the later working and gaining experience.

After that, I returned to Delhi to establish a few corporate IVF centres. I have my own setup that I have been managing since 2014. We study dermatology, dentistry, Obstetrics, Gynacology, surgery, medicine, psychiatry, neurology, and a variety of other fields while pursuing our MBBS. If you specialize in medicine or a medical-related subject, you will not be able to operate. If surgery or a related specialty is chosen, there will be a lot of operations with not much of medical treatment.
