Tell us about the prior industry experience that you bring to the table as an experienced business leader. What are some key areas of expertise you have developed over the years?

My journey began in a recruitment firm, where I found the intersection of intrigue and challenge within human resources. What inspired you to establish Career Path? Can you share the idea behind the venture and its key areas of expertise?

My passion for recruitment drove me to test my capabilities by starting my own venture. In 2014, I launched Career Path with a limited client base. Over the past decade, I have successfully expanded to include clients from various industries, continuing to pursue my passion and dream. Initially, when I started my career, we were the only recruitment consultants at Neerja Handa Corporate providing manpower solutions to the textile and fashion industries, quickly becoming a recognized name in the market. Therefore, I chose to focus on the same industry for my passion and career. My key area of expertise remains understanding clients' requirements and fulfilling them with patience and dedication.

What are your key responsibilities as the Founder and Director of Career Path?

As the Founder/Director of Career Path, my primary responsibilities revolve around ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining competitiveness in the market, especially amidst the challenging task of recruiting deserving employees. Simultaneously, I prioritize aligning with the interests of our candidates. Upholding ethics and honesty in all business dealings is fundamental to our long-term sustainability.

Founding Career Path has reinforced my belief in the power of teamwork. I emphasize collective effort over individual credit, understanding that ‘we’ is the most potent catalyst for achievement in any endeavor.

What are the most notable milestones you've achieved in your professional journey? How would you describe your guiding principles for success over the years?

In my professional experience, I have achieved multiple successful projects. One notable lead was handling 60 international recruitments in one go. Another significant achievement was completing 100 face-to-face interviews in a single day. This was a very challenging target for me, but it was a great opportunity that helped build my confidence in interacting with multiple talents.

Over the past years, there have been many achievements. As a team, we completed 2000 recruitments for different profiles without using any recruitment portals. Nowadays, no one can think of such hiring without external support. Having worked from the ground level, I am now capable of accepting any challenges.

Looking ahead, how do you anticipate the evolution of women's representation in leadership roles in India? What strategies can be implemented to encourage more women to pursue entrepreneurship?

The progression of women's representation in leadership roles in India is witnessing positive developments within our society. Government initiatives aimed at promoting gender equality and providing entrepreneurial opportunities for women are contributing significantly to this evolution.

To further enhance women's participation in leadership and entrepreneurship, several key areas require attention. Firstly, media portrayal of successful women leaders plays a crucial role in inspiring younger generations to aspire to leadership positions. Secondly, societal attitudes towards women in leadership roles are gradually shifting due to increased awareness and advocacy efforts.

Moreover, improving access to higher education and professional courses for women is essential to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge. Establishing microfinance institutions tailored to support women entrepreneurs can also facilitate their entry and growth in business ventures. Additionally, integrating entrepreneurship courses into educational curricula and implementing supportive policies such as tax incentives and simplified regulatory processes are crucial steps forward.

To all women striving to achieve their goals, I offer this advice: "Never give up and always embrace life's challenges." With perseverance and determination, women can continue to break barriers and thrive in leadership and entrepreneurship roles across India.
