Could you please share your educational background and your previous industry experience that you can contribute to our team?

I embarked on my educational journey with a degree in business management from AUT Auckland University, followed by a cosmetology certification from City & Guilds UK. Furthermore, I hold a Premier Diploma in Beauty, Body & Spa from CIBTAC and CIDESCO.

My career has been marked by a strong foundation in the tech-driven beauty and wellness sector. I have served as a brand ambassador for the prestigious Schwarzkopf brand, held the role of skin director at Looks Salon overseeing more than 70 outlets, acted as the general manager at Asian Roots DHI under the Apollo Group, served as the National Sales Head for India for the luxury brand Pevonia USA, and even assumed the position of Executive Director at a budding startup brand called Potenza Wellness.

My diverse professional background provides a unique perspective that I can bring to The Wellness Co. Unlike traditional spa or healthcare brands, The Wellness Co. is a larger and more innovative concept. Leveraging my wealth of knowledge and experience, I am committed to aiding the brand's expansion and success in its distinctive approach.

I possess extensive expertise as a business leader within the cosmetics industry, with a focus on orchestrating and optimizing operational aspects. My track record includes successfully establishing brands from the ground up, showcasing my proficiency in this field. One of my key areas of specialization centers around face wellness and cosmetology. I have a deep understanding of skincare and beauty treatments, enabling me to drive innovation in this domain. Additionally, I excel in operations and consistently seek ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within cosmetic and wellness businesses.

In your view, what are some of the key challenges faced in the Indian cosmetics industry? What measures do you take to address these obstacles?

One of the significant gaps involves the need to educate the public about the distinction between beauty and wellness, emphasis being more on the importance of prioritizing wellness. Another often-overlooked issue is the limited understanding of new technology and the underlying scientific principles. With its unique concept in India, The Wellness Co. was also presented challenges related to the scarcity of experts and the need for upskilling within our industry.

To tackle these challenges, my approach includes introducing The Wellness Co. as a platform that makes cutting-edge technology, rooted in both science and nature, accessible to Indian consumers. We aim to establish as a comprehensive destination for all wellness needs.

Additionally, I take great pride in raising awareness about the concept of bio-hacking and introducing cutting-edge wellness therapies, both of which have been noteworthy achievements.
