Women Educationalists Empowering Students & taking Indian Education Forward

Tall trees often have deep roots. A strong foundation is indeed the most important ingredient of building anything lucrative and long-lasting. School education is something similar. It forms the base of an individual’s life’s trajectory. Hence, the importance of good school education can hardly be overemphasized.
The Indian school education landscape has undergone massive evolution over the past few years. Teaching, learning and the business of education is vastly different from what it used to be couple of years ago.
Technological advancements and modernization have been key in transforming education in India. Today, there is also increased emphasis on the adoption of experiential learning as a dynamic approach to education. The recently implemented National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020, has been pivotal for Indian school education as it envisions an education system that is rooted in Indian ethos. It truly envisions an India where quality education is provided to all.
The perfect amalgamation of yesterday and tomorrow forms the current state of the Indian school education landscape. We bring to you some of the most accomplished women educators who have seamlessly bridged this gap.
In the current magazine edition meet Dr. Grace Pinto, the Managing Director of Ryan International Group of Institutions. Passionate about promoting women's empowerment, Dr Grace is actively engaged in numerous social initiatives aimed at assisting underprivileged individuals.
She has garnered a series of accolades recognizing her remarkable efforts in the realms of education and social upliftment. Among these notable honors are The National Educational Excellence Award, The Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award, The Global Education Award, The Women Achievers Award, and The Seva Chakra Puraskar, among others.
Poonam Arora, Principal, Bombay Cambridge International School is another educationalist whose journey has been featured in the magazine’s current edition. She is a pioneering educator who leaves no stone unturned to ensure the holistic development of her students. Our first priority is to understand the needs of the children which helps us to design and develop our curriculum and teaching pedagogies that best help in our student's holistic development
In this edition also meet Subbalakshmi Bulusu, Vice President, SRV International School. Subbalakshmi holds a master's degree in English, along with bachelor's degrees in both science and education. She has dedicated herself to enhancing her expertise in IB and Cambridge learning, undertaking numerous courses in these areas.
Last but not least we introduce you to Dr Vandana Lulla, Director/ Principal, Podar International School (IB & Cambridge). Dr Vandana is a committed visionary who introduced Cambridge & IB education to India, making it accessible and affordable for students. Through her efforts, she has successfully implemented an international education system within the country.
