Shining Beacons of Successful Women Who Persevered & Never Gave Up

Women leaders and business owners have been battling against various challenges for years. Be it societal norms, gender stereotypes, structural bias or just plain sexism, women in the working sphere have never had a level playing field with their male counterparts.
In Women Entrepreneur India’s conversation with Sonali Srungaram, Founder & MD, Cipher Oncology, she states, ““The environment has been very conducive for men to be able to achieve their goals, and it's been my experience that women have to work a bit harder to get to the same level. However, the times are changing for the better, and barriers for women are much lower compared to 20 years back.” The business leader is part of WE’s prestigious ‘Alumni Women Leaders from Indian School of Business- 2023’ issue.
The ISB alumnus further says, “For me, the only thing that has worked is being very clear about my destination.” Sonali is supporting the cause of effective cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment and has been working extensively to create patient-centric models of cancer care.
