She Creates Change, as an official selection for the 2023 Tribeca X Award, which honors the year's best-in-class works at the Tribeca Festival.Charithra is an Asian actress who is British-born along with this she is also an activist and producer. In She Creates Change which is the first non-profit-led animation and also a live-action film project to promote gender equality through the stories of young women around the world, she dubs the role of Keya, a strong young woman from Bangladesh. With She Creates Change films, books, audio content, and educational curriculum, Room to Read aims to boldly reach all 432 million adolescent girls worldwide. These materials support the girls in making changes in their lives and communities. She will join the organization concerning the position appointed on 14 November 2023 as per reports. After serving for 12 years on the GCPL Board, Independent Director Narendra Ambwani will step down in November 2023.GCPL will now be able to provide Shalini with extensive knowledge of digital and technology to direct GCPL's growth strategy. When she will join the Board, there will be a total of six women directors on the GCPL Board, bringing the percentage of women directors to 50 percent.Shalini is moving towards establishing India's digital ecosystem as the Managing Director and Country Head of Google Customer Solutions. Her prior positions include CEO of PepsiCo's Lehar Foods Business and Category Director for Amazon India. Shalini has completed her bachelor's from IIT Madras and master's in personnel management from XLRI, also completed her MBA from INSEAD.Shalini has received many recognitions throughout her journey. The World Economic Forum has recognized her as a "Young Global Leader". She was also named one of the "Women Leaders to Watch in 2015" and received the Economic Times and Super Stuart "40 Under 40 Influential Leaders Award" in 2014.
