Kim oversaw the second Twenty20 International game between Sri Lanka and New Zealand at the University Oval in Dunedin.In a tied T20I between India and New Zealand in 2020, the 45-year-old made her debut in men's cricket as a TV umpire. She has presided over 16 women's ODIs and 44 women's T20s. The New Zealander officiated both the 2022 Women's World Cup final (50-over) and the 2023 Women's T20 World Cup final on-field in February.Being the first female umpire in a men's international, Claire Polosak made history in 2019 when she oversaw an ODI game between associate nations Oman and Namibia. Claire made history as the first female match official in a men's Test match when serving as the fourth umpire in the 2021­22 Border Gavaskar Trophy Test match between India and Australia in Sydney last year.
