Aruna Chawla, the founder and CEO of Salad, became aware of how little women know about their own bodies at the beginning of 2020. Salad Condoms were the first item the firm sold.In August 2022, Karishma Rathaur (Co-Founder & COO) joined Salad. She has overseen product strategy and growth at large-scale consumer tech firms. Aruna spent the previous six years working in the field of women's health and research. Karishma was a member of the original Uber India team.
