According to a research by Marketingcharts, 7 in 10 global Chief Communications Officers (CCOs) believe that to their focus on digital communication has increased. Additionally, 91 percent of communication officers expect to work more closely with digital/social media departments over the next few years.However, each company is different and so is the role of the communication officer.
