The apex committee for monitoring the execution of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme with State governments and Union Territory administrations at regular intervals will be a national committee headed by the Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, established under the broader Mission Shakti mandate, according to the manual.
