Democratic Sweena Pannu will fill the vacancy created by Judge Thomas D. Zeff's retirement from the Stanislaus County Superior Court.The governor's office issued a news release stating that each of these 27 positions will be paid $231,174 annually. At the Stanislaus County Counsel's Office since 2020, Sweena has worked as a deputy county counsel.From 2006 until 2020, she even served as a deputy public defender at the Stanislaus County Public Defender's Office. She has completed her undergraduate studies at Punjab University before earning her master's degree from the University of Aberdeen School of Law. From 1996 until 2004, she worked as an attorney at ML SARIN. The survey was conducted on looking forward to the upcoming event of Global Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28th.Everteen which is a feminine hygiene brand, conducted a survey on Menstrual Hygiene which also indicated that 71.7 percent of respondents opposed paid menstruation leave because of concern that it would discourage employers from hiring women. The survey, which was conducted in several locations in India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Patna attracted about 10,000 women between the ages of 18 and 35.PAN Healthcare CEO Chirag Pan stated that just 5.2 percent of women feel comfortable talking about their periods with their seniors, and 39.9 percent of women do not want to talk about their periods at the workplace not even with their female coworkers.Wet and Dry Personal Care CEO Hariom Tyagi mentioned that a survey shows that more than 50 per cent of women are unable to sleep comfortably during the first two days of their periods and 63.6 percent of the females suffer from menstrual cramps.
